Born in 1961, in Hannibal, MO, Tori aspired all her life to be a physical therapist. Tori was a 25 year old recent graduate, when her life was tragically taken away from her.

Tori was found dead in her apartment with her left hand severed from her body. The murder scene was gruesomely bloody, and was set-up to look like a self-induced death. Despite this, unidentified Y chromosomes were found on her bloody kitchen knife.

Spray-painted black on Tori's hallway wall read "December 4th, 1986" and was signed with the initials "DGE." 

 

Tori's life-long best friend, CRYSTAL, was investigated as a witness. ​During the investigation process, Crystal stated that she didn't know of any female/friend who would harm Tori. She followed up that statement by expressing that Tori had the kindest heart, and had no known enemies.

 

Based on Crystal's testimony, investigators believe that someone disconnected from Tori's personal life was the murder culprit.

 

Investigators further beliefs: an unknown female had an obsession with Tori from a distance. Around the time of weeks of the murder, it is believed that the murderer was squatting/hiding in Tori's apartment in order to discover Tori's weaknesses, learn the apartment layout, and plan the murder with Tori's own kitchenware.
